Today product certification is mandatory in the European Union and Asia.

Certification of goods in Europe

Today, CE Certification is the only compulsory certification procedure in the European Union, confirming the compliance of products with European quality standards and providing access to the European market. This CE marking of goods can not be used in advertising or marketing purposes or to apply voluntarily for the goods for which this type of certification is not provided. For these purposes, you can use national standards for voluntary certification, such as the German mark GS (tested safety), significantly increase consumer confidence in the product.

There is a category of products that can be carried out through customs, the customs declaration - for personal use. Thus, you do not incur a mandatory procedure for obtaining permits documentation and can:

  • to test a sample on the indicators you are interested in;
  • calculate the provisional value of permits.

CE Certificates (EU), TR CU (Customs Union), GOST - not quoted in the territory of Asia.
If you are exporting products to the Asian countries, permits are issued by the internal requirements of a specific country (for example, China - a license).
